May 25, 1958 — June 25, 2023

WINTERPORT - With great sadness, we announce the passing of Susan Jennifer Lippoth, 65, on Sunday, June 25, 2023. She was born May 25, 1958, in Bangor, the daughter of Stephen and Jane (Day) Goodine.

Susan graduated from Cony High School, Class of 1976. After graduating, she secured a job at A.G. Edwards Investments in Portland. She excelled at her job and was promoted to Operations Manager in the New York City office. Susan enjoyed city life and upon her retirement, returned to her beloved home state to be closer to family. Settling in Winterport, she made a warm home for her dog, Kipper and her dear cats. Susan loved working in her yard and tending her gardens. While settling into her second career at L. L. Bean, she found a warm welcoming family.

Because of her smile and outgoing personality, Susan made friends wherever she went. One of her greatest gifts, she wanted everyone to be seen and heard, so she took the time to listen. A friend to all, she will be remembered and missed by many.

In addition to her father, Susan is survived by a sister, Stephanie Brown and her daughter, Danielle, and grandson, Max; a brother, Scott Goodine and his daughter, Elizabeth; a brother, Jason Farnsworth and his wife, Destiny, and their son, Colby; a sister, Leslie Farnsworth and her husband, Rick; her special aunt, Esther Taylor, and cousin, Sally Gilbert Hasey. Also, her dear friend, Kathy Cyr. In addition to her mother, Susan was predeceased by her step-father, George Farnsworth, and her step-mother, Geraldine Goodine.

The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments from 1-3 p.m., Monday, July 10, 2023, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St. Bangor. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Susan in a special way may make gifts in her memory to Bangor Human Society, 693 Mt. Hope Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401.
