Theodore Cote

BANGOR – T. Bradley “Brad” Cote, 87, passed away November 24, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born September 8, 1926, in Dexter, the son of Joseph T. and Cecile M. (Clukey) Cote.
Brad attended Dexter schools, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He owned Brad Cote & Sons Sheet Metal Company, and he was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union 545. Brad was a very loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather.
Brad is survived by his wife of 67 years, Phyllis M. (Hall) Cote; four children, Gary Cote and his wife, Lillian of Milo, Richard Cote and his wife, Karen of Winterport, Debbie DePhilippo and her husband, Edward of Bangor, and Paul Cote and his fiancée, Lisa Thomas of Bangor; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother Robert Cote and his wife, Melba of Sangerville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by, a grandson, Jason Cote; two brothers, Philip Cote and Joseph Cote.
A graveside service will be held at noon, Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 449 Ohio St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, Director of Chaplaincy Services at EMMC, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, following the interment.
