Theodore Peterson

July 21, 1958 — July 9, 2016

Theodore “Ted” Karl Peterson, 57, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 9, 2016. He was born July 21, 1958, in Bangor, the son of Karl L. and Blanch (Ellis) Peterson.

Ted grew up in Corinth and graduated from Central High School. He went to work for Floyd C. Wiggin as a carpenter. Ted later became a construction superintendent at H.P. Cummings for 28 years. Until his passing he worked as a construction superintendent for Consigli Corp. Ted enjoyed spending his free time working on different projects around the house and for his friends. He was always on the go. Ted enjoyed the outdoors, snowmobiling, riding his four wheeler, motor cycling, and fishing. He enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved being outside, “cloud watching”, as he would call it, watching the sunset from the back yard, or going for moonlit walks. What Ted cherished the most was spending time with his family. Whether it was family BBQ’s or spending time at the lake, family was his number one priority. Ted looked forward to coming home after a long day’s work to the love of his life, Dot. They would dance quietly each night after “cloud watching”, or watching the sunset, and often going for a moonlit stroll along the pond.

Ted is survived by his beloved daughter, Lindsey Peterson and fiancé Gary Alvarez of Lake Mary, FL; his mother, Blanch (Ellis) Peterson and sister, Leola Peterson Barry, both of Corinth; the love of his life, his soul mate, Dot Danforth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

According to his wishes funeral services will be private for the family. It would be important to Ted for his friends to pay it forward or to help a stranger in need as a gift in his memory. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
