CORINTH - Theora G. (Buswell) Lougee, 89, passed away September 11, 2019, at a Bangor healthcare facility, surrounded by family. She was born July 9, 1930, in Exeter, the daughter of F. Keith and Ruth (Felix) Buswell.
Theora attended schools in Corinth and Corinna. Following high school, she married Robert V. Lougee on June 5, 1948, and together shared 53 years. Theora and Robert owned and operated a dairy farm in Exeter, where they enjoyed working together and raising their family. She was an amazing homemaker, cooking wonderful meals for her family, as well as keeping her home immaculate. After selling the farm in 1974, Theora and Robert relocated to Corinth, where she made many lifelong friends. Even into her later years, Theora enjoyed the outdoors, where she grew beautiful flowers, mowed her lawn, and always looked for an opportunity during the winter to scoop snow. What mattered most in her life was the love that she had for her family, especially her grandchildren, where she became fondly known as “Caw Caw.”
