THERESA (TERRI) ANN NADEAU

Theresa A. Nadeau, 57 died unexpectedly February 12, 2023, at a Bangor Hospital. She was born June 06, 1965, in Bangor ME, The daughter of Clarence Joseph Russell and Gertrude Marion (Lawrence) Hobson.
Theresa attended Bangor High School, Class of 1983. After a few years of being a stay at home mother, she worked alongside her mother as a seamstress at the house of brides in Bangor. She then worked in many occupations such as a secretary at Blue Knights International while also managing the household while her husband was deployed to Iraq; a deli manager for Freshies; and found her calling as a safety goddess at Hartt’s Transportation. She and her husband celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary July 2022. She also enjoyed her time at the Anah Shrine. Theresa enjoyed doing all types of crafts such as; crocheting, scrapbooking, sewing, and more. She loved spending time with her grandchildren; spending days shopping and enjoying lunch dates with her mother whom she also spent every weekend with and her daily long phone calls with her; she had a great love for her animals especially her boy Grayson. She looked forward to her weekend girl trips with her lifelong best friend Audra Lynch; and the yearly family reunions at Hancock Point.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Richard Nadeau; are her son, Tyler James Scanlon of Austin TX; and daughter, Tanya Lynn (Scanlon) Emery, and her husband, Michael Emery, of Fort Rucker, AL; her grandchildren, Brooklynn, Kinley, Jasper, and Ronan Emery; Mother, Gertrude Hobson; Sister, Peggy Paradis; Brother, Joseph Russel; as well as step siblings, Lisa Weaver, Greg Hobson, and Pam Ireland; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Clarence; loving Stepfather, Gilbert Hobson; Nephew, Dakota Paradis; Uncle, Robert (Buck) Vaughn.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend her funeral service on Tuesday February 21st at 2 p.m. at Brookings-Smith, 133 center St. Bangor. With Rev. Dr. Steve Smith, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversations and memories with a finger food potluck style refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith 163 center St. in Bangor immediately following the service.
