Thomas Rockwell, Sr.

Thomas “Rocky” E. Rockwell Sr., 63, passed away November 15, 2019, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 12, 1956, in Bangor, the son of Elmer T. and Charlene M. (Knox) Rockwell. Tom graduated from Brewer High School in the Class of 1975. He worked at the General Electric Turbine Plant for over 27 years as a machinist where he enjoyed his work and co-workers. Tom was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Brewer for most of his life. He liked to work with his hands and enjoyed wood working, boat building and motor sports. There are many wonderful memories of game night, playing cards with his friends and he was the score keeper. More than anything his family was his life. He will be sadly missed by them all especially his loving grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Crystal (Stewart) Rockwell; a daughter, Courtney Brideau and husband Aaron of Eddington; a son, Tommy Rockwell Jr. and wife Nichole of Dedham; grandchildren, Isabelle, Sebastian, William, and Bronson; siblings, Roderick Rockwell and companion Darlene French, Becky Pearson and husband Mark, Valerie Ross and husband Harrison. Tom was predeceased by his father in 1988. A Service of Remembrance will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 61 State Street, Brewer, with Pastor Dan Russell, presiding.
