Timothy J Reagan, 59, passed away on August 20, 2019, after an extended battle with cancer. He was the son of Paul J Reagan (RIP) and Helen E Reagan, sibling to Thomas Reagan, Jane Reagan (RIP) and William Reagan, brother-in-law to Christine (Riopel) Reagan and Stephanie (Featherman) Reagan, proud uncle to Melissa, Rebecca, Sage, and Hazel, great uncle to Margaret and Kathrine, and devoted companion to his canine sidekick, Brady. Tim was also blessed with a large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he dearly loved and deeply appreciated.
Tim was also privileged to have a network of wonderful friends that stretched back to his youth in Attleboro, Massachusetts. His career in Marketing led to extended residences in Boston, Columbia SC, Minneapolis, Arlington VA, and Denver, locales where he met countless people he cherished. Tim was committed to excellence in his work, and equally so in his personal pastimes, especially his passion for long-distance cycling and racing. These two parts of his life were being combined into a business book he was writing about leadership lessons learned from his biking experiences. He was a voracious reader, political observer, history buff, and lifelong ardent fan of Boston’s sports teams, traveling to MLB parks around the league with his sister Jane to watch the Sox. While the illness made his final days frustrating, his memory never faded. Tim reveled in laughter at any opportunity and expressed deep gratitude for the rich life he enjoyed with the friends he loved.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at St. John’s Catholic Church, 217 York Street in Bangor ME, for a service celebrating Tim and Jane Reagan on Wednesday, August 28, at 11:00am. The celebration will continue in the church hall shortly after the service. Please bring your stories, as the family would love to hear them.
