Tyler Philip St. Peter

June 25, 1999 — December 28, 2024

Hampden

HAMPDEN, MAINE - Tyler St. Peter, 25, passed suddenly and peacefully on December 28, 2024 at home with his brother, mother, and father by his side. He was born June 25, 1999 in Presque Isle, Maine; the son of Denis St. Peter and Susan (Cormier) St. Peter, and the brother of Justin St. Peter. Tyler was born with congenital heart disease (CHD), for which he underwent several surgeries and interventions at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital early in his life. Despite his physical limitations, Tyler adapted to a normal and joyful life with an optimistic, easy-going, and brave approach. He was a very funny, loving, and stoic person who never complained. Tyler was a tremendous blessing for those that knew him during his 25 years of life. He had incredible empathy and compassion with the ability to nurture and care for his friends and family before himself. He enriched everyone he encountered and will be deeply missed.

Shortly after his birth, Tyler and his family moved to Hampden, Maine. Tyler attended the SAD22 school system, attended the United Technology Center’s culinary program in Bangor, and graduated from Hampden Academy. Tyler lived a full life. He was a very witty and curious thinker who loved conversing about complex subjects and enjoyed an extended childhood. Tyler appreciated the simple things, collectibles from his favorite movies, video games, family cribbage tournaments, and LEGOs. Additionally, Tyler enjoyed target shooting, cooking, and spending time with his family, friends, and beloved pets.

Tyler was predeceased by his grandfather Roger N. Cormier. Survived by his older brother, Justin St. Peter and Justin’s wife Marion Ollier of San Francisco, CA, his parents Susan and Denis St. Peter of Hampden, his “Nana” Rachel Plourde of Hampden, his “Grandma” Linda St. Peter and “Pop-pop” Terry St. Peter of Belfast, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
