Vickey (Willey) Wickett

Old Town - Vickey (Willey) Wickett, 51, went home to be with the Lord, her savior on October 26, 2016, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Vickey was born on August 30, 1965, in Dexter, Maine. She was married to Mark Wickett on June 29, 2016. Vickey worked in the nursing field for 16 years. She was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and farmer for many years. Vickey was also a member of Orono's Farmers market. She is survived by her husband, Mark Wickett, and their dog, Chase, who was a very loyal and attentive companion to her during her final days; three children, Maegan Hall, of Bangor, Matthew Hall and significant other, Jennifer Sweeney, of Bangor, and Gretta Phillips and her husband, Michael, of Orrington; grandchildren, Dakota Hall, Sophia Hall, Kaidan Phillips, and Madison Hall; sister Melissa Mitchell, of Levant; three brothers, Steven Willey and his wife, Mattie, of Bangor, Todd Willey and his wife, Susan, of Florida, and Brent Dority, of Bangor; many loving extended family members. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Willey, of Bangor. Vickey wanted to give a special thank you to her caring hospice workers Lynn, Priscilla, Marilyn and Makayla of St Joseph's Hospice.
