Viola Harmon

Caribou and Bangor – Viola Pauline Harmon, 104, died peacefully, July 9, 2017. She was born June 15, 1913 in Perham, the daughter of John and Ida (Anderson) Dahlgren.

Viola was a member of the Gray Memorial Methodist Church of Caribou. She will be fondly remembered for her potato donuts, potato pancakes, and Swedish bread. Viola had a strong love for cats, and her face would light up and smile if someone mentioned them. She was also very proud of her Swedish heritage.
In addition to her parents, Viola was predeceased by her husband, Roland F. Harmon Sr., and a daughter, Beverly Baker.

She is survived by two sons, Roland F. Harmon Jr., and his wife, Barbara, of Hudson, NH and Dale R. Harmon and his wife, Mona, of Eddington; two daughters, Barbara J. Leeman and her husband, John, of Brewer, and Cynthia L. Juhasz and her husband, Charles, of Liverpool, NY; sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
