WALDO - Virginia was born on September 6, 1931, to Eugene and Beatrice Jackson, and passed away on September 1, 2021, with her three daughters by her side; just 5 days shy of her 90th birthday.
Ginny graduated from Colby High School in Belfast, class of 1949. She married Paul Dinsmore, and they settled in Waldo to raise their three daughters. She loved her family and will be remembered for her joy of cooking and keeping an inviting home, always ready for company.
She is survived by her three daughters, Paula Hines and husband, Dick, of Locust Grove, Virginia, Vicki McCormick of Holden, Maine, and Valorie Flewelling and husband, Bruce, of Easton, Maine. She adored her five grandchildren and their families, Amy McCormick Fiorilli and husband, Brian, Darren McCormick and wife, Nicole, Jake Hines and wife, Crystal, Nicholas Flewelling and wife, Autumn, and Chris Flewelling. They blessed her with 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Rita Perkins of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Mank; a brother, Ronnie Jackson; and a great-granddaughter, Hallie Grace Flewelling.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at Ross Manor for their dedication and compassionate care during Ginny's stay there.
