Bangor and Orono – Walter Clewley, 96, died December 23, 2016 at a local nursing facility. He was born January 26, 1920, the son of Urban and Ruth Clewley.
In addition to his parents, Walter was predeceased by a niece, Nancy York. He is survived by his sister, Mildred (Clewley) Wynn, half-brother, Stanley Clewley, and half-sister, Doris (Clewley) Rolf; nieces, Ruth Randall and Linda Szosteck; nephew, James Wynn; aunt Ellen Smith; great nieces and nephews, Lisa Ellis, Tammy Levesque, Robbie Levesque, and Jason Szosteck.
The family would like to thank the staff at Orono Commons for all of their love, care, and compassion shown to Walter.
Relatives and friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday December 29, 2016 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor where funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday December 30, 2016.
