WILLIAM THOMPSON MANSUR
BANGOR— William “Bill” Mansur, 82, died on June 21, 2022 at a Bangor hospital. He was born Sept. 2, 1939, in Bangor, Maine, the son of Charles and Audrey Campbell Mansur.
Bill attended Bangor High School. He retired from the Bangor Public Library and was a proud member of the St. Andrews Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Scottish Rite and Anah Temple Shrine for more than 50 years. Bill was a hard worker all his life and never missed an opportunity to give to others. His nephew Mark often commented that everyone should have an Uncle Bill.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Florence Jack, brother Charles Jr., his sister Ruth Townson, and brother James. Surviving are his sister Bonny Parent of Hampden and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private gathering for family to remember Bill.
