Winnifred L. Bryant

Winnifred (Coggins) Bryant, 96 passed away December 8, 2022 after a brief illness.
She was born in Lubec, December 14, 1925 the daughter of Wilbur S. and Flora (Libby) Coggins.
Winnie worked as a nurse at EMMC from 1967 until retiring in 1986. She was a member of Columbia St. Baptist Church for many years. Winnie received great joy in her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and baking birthday cakes for people.
Surviving are two sons, David Bryant and his wife Linda of Holden, Wendell Bryant and his wife Donna of Cutler; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; a sister Sally McPhail. Winnie was predeceased by her husband Darroll, daughter Lana Giles and a brother Jed Coggins.
The family would like to thank her kind and supportive friends and neighbors.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave. Hampden. Relatives and friends are invited to call 12:00 until time of service Thursday.
