Bangor – Yvonne S. Mulheron died peacefully in her sleep December 27, 2016 while recovering from 2 strokes at Ross Manor. She was born March 18, 1931 in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of Walter and Helen (Perkins) Smart.
She married Forrest F. Mulheron, Jr. in November 1949, and became a housewife, raising her 2 children. After not finishing her high school as a young adult she returned to Bangor High night school many years later and achieved her High School diploma in June of 1976. She was a kind, caring and loving soul while also being very giving and loyal.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, 3 brothers and a sister. Surviving in addition to 2 sisters, are son Forrest F. Mulheron III, daughter Carole A. Brownell; her ever loving joy in her life, her grandson Forrest F Mulheron IV; and granddaughters Lori Burrola and Shannon Ford. She is also survived by great granddaughters and a great grandson as well as nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. There will be a private ceremony in the Spring. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Orono.
