Obituary for Charles Frederick Sawyer

ORONO/OLD TOWN-Charles “Charlie” F. Sawyer Jr., 60, passed away May 27, 2017, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. He was born December 28, 1956, in Hartford, CT, the son of Charles F. Sawyer Sr. and Marilyn A. (Garrant) Sawyer.

Charlie graduated from the Suffield High School, Conn., in the Class of 1975. He held various jobs associated with construction.

He is survived by a brother, Edward Sawyer and wife Debbie, of Rochester, NY; a nephew, Edward Sawyer Jr. and wife Carrie; a niece, Rebecca Severy and husband Phillip; and several grand nieces and nephews.

Services will be private for the family. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com
