Obituary for Glen J. Kennedy

Glen J.  Kennedy
Winterport – Glen J. Kennedy, 69, died unexpectedly June 24, 2017, at a Bangor hospital. He was born October 25, 1947, in Connors, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of John and Annie (Taggart) Kennedy.

Glen was a truck driver by trade and an active member of his community. Glen joined the Masons in 1985 and joined the Scottish Rites and received the designation of 32nd Degree Master Mason in 1986. Also in 1986 he joined the Anah Shriners. In 1992 Glen was the Master of Mystic Lodge #65 in Hampden.

Glen is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beverly (Ryan), his daughter Alane (Hammond) Solomon, and her husband Harold, of Bangor; his son Allan Hammond, and his husband John Rose, of Orlando, Florida; his grand-daughter Ashley Hope, and her children Chayse, Zoe and Alistor of Bangor; his grand-daughter Meghan Hope of Bangor; and his canine companion Abbey.

There will be a private grave side service for family.
