CORINTH – Michael “Mike” Paradise, 67, died April 12, 2018, surrounded by family. He was born July 23, 1950, in Jackman, Maine, the son of William “Jay” and Lois (Parent) Paradise. Mike attended schools in Maine and New York. He was well known in the building trades and later in life became a registered nurse. He worked for some time as a licensed alcohol and substance abuse counselor. He loved his large family and friends; traveling and puttering with computers gave him great joy. In addition to his father, Mike was predeceased by his sister, Jennifer. He is survived by his wife, Joan; mother, Lois Latimer; sisters, Bonnie and Kellie; and brothers, John and Frank. He also leaves his beloved children; adopted daughter, Lisabeth and husband, Jeff, son Corey and wife, Cullen, and daughter, Roxanne and husband, Matt. He will be missed by grandkids, Jaden, Emma, Spencer, and Milo. He has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to his brother-in-law, Paul. Please join the family in a celebration of Michael’s life 1-3p.m., Saturday April 28, 2018, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor.
