Brookings-Smith, Main Chapel, located at 133 Center Street, Bangor, is a stately brick façade home. Our ceremonial chapel with beautiful cherry pews, an organ, keyboard and can accommodate up to 400 for a service. There are TV monitors throughout that can be used to display a Life Tribute DVD program or used as a closed circuit TV to view or record a service. A complete music system can accommodate CD music to personalize the music taste of an individual. Our main administrative offices are also located at this facility.

Near the banks of the rolling Penobscot River, the Brookings-Smith Brewer Chapel, located at 55 S. Main Street, Brewer, provides a serene setting for a personalized life tribute. The main chapel can accommodate up to 150 friends and family with additional seating in another chapel. Part of the facility is a reception area that can be used for a reception following a service or a place for a memorial reception without a service. There are TV monitors throughout designed to display a customized Life Tribute DVD program, or can be used as a closed circuit TV for a large service. There is an audio system that can play CD music that would reflect the life of the individual that died. Wonderful surroundings, beautiful landscaping, plenty of parking, all add to the value of this very nice facility.

Family Reception Center, located at 163 Center Street, Bangor, is a 4800 square foot space that can be used for receptions, gatherings, or any kind of life tribute. This space has 3 TV screen monitors that can show a specially designed Life Tribute DVD program that our staff can develop in house. A spacious kitchen with two refrigerators can be used by a caterer or by a family that would like to provide their own food. Many families use this space for a gathering after a service or it can also be used for a memorial reception without a service. There is a children’s room with a TV and video/DVD and other toys to keep the children entertained. A Business Office is also provided so if you need to get plugged into the internet, check your e-mail, or just need a space to organize materials. There is also a sound system that can play music that would reflect a person’s life. This is a wonderful spacious reception area that can accommodate any family and their special needs.

Life Tribute & Arrangement Center, located at 159 Center Street, Bangor, is a specialized quiet office space used to gather with surviving families to design the appropriate life tribute for their loved one. There is a full range of merchandise displayed in our showroom that will enhance any offering that a family selects. This space can accommodate large or small families for arrangements both at the time of need or for pre-arranged services. This space was designed to comply with handicap accessibility throughout and a fully functional fire and life safety system. Pine Grove Crematorium and Remembrance Center is located at 1347 Hammond Street in Bangor. This facility is operated by Brookings-Smith and its professional staff. Special care was taken in its design so that it fits into its surroundings amongst the gracious old pine trees along the slopes of a lovely field. The cremators were designed with a warm hearth for good energy efficiency and a microprocessor controller to ensure proper safe guards. The facility has a life safety and security system and closed circuit cameras with a digital video recorder overseeing all parts of the facility. The Remembrance Center can accommodate up to 40 people for a small family gathering or service or a memorial reception without a service. A viewing room is available for the families that want peace of mind seeing what goes on during the cremation process and may want to witness the remains of their loved ones placed into the cremation equipment through a viewing window.
