Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Betty O'Brien can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Kindness

Bettty and Kip were two of the kindest people. When in Maryland we would visit and Betty and yours truly would sit and listen to Anita and Kip speak of the days in Wamego and how Anita saw him off to the service. Years later when Anita was ill and I had to be away for a few days, they came from Maine to care for Anita. Upon my return Betty had a week of food prepared and as they left to go back to Maine, Betty as I recall, said "Paul, we Yankees did well".
