Condolence: I am saddened to hear of this loss. I have, over the years, heard many wonderful and inspiring tales of this man--though I have never once met him. My sailing coach in high school was Butch's sister, Betty. To this day, Betty and I stay connected. Every time we have spoken, without exaggeration, Betty would share at least one story about Butch. These stories were vibrant and full of love and life. I felt like I was watching a regatta unfold with the power of Betty's words. Through her stories I could tell how fiercely Betty admired her brother and so appreciated how she shared that love in her stories. I am so sorry that this great man is no longer with us in this life. I know he will live on in many memories. To his family, my sincerest condolences.

Condolence: Coach Minson was a wonderful man to be around. Our four years at MMA were made even better because of him and his love of sailing. I imagine he is giving the angels a lesson on roll tacking as we remember him.

We are so sorry for your loss and the community's loss of such a great man.

Love, Carrie and Jay Stewart
